Strength in Support
As a mom of four, each time I gave birth I felt this amazing empowerment and connection with my body, my partner and my child. The experience was intense and overwhelming, but also very very awesome. I did not have a Doula for any of my births and that was the thing that was missing. After experiencing childbirth myself I wish I would have had a Doula there to nurture and keep me balanced throughout the process. Soon after that I felt that it was my calling to become a Doula myself.
In my role as a DONA Doula, I offer support to women and their partners before, during and after childbirth. My role is to help facilitate safe, positive and empowering birthing experiences by offering the information, emotional and physical support needed during this time. As your Doula, I will work by your side as you prepare to give birth; present in each moment with a spirit of love and compassion. Whether you are interested in a birthing class, or would like to work with me as your Doula, I’ll provide the emotional, educational and physical support you need not only during labor, but throughout your pregnancy and postpartum as well.
My Story
How I Got Here
I see pregnancy, birth, and the growth of a family as one of the most beautiful things about life that God has designed for us. As well as being a Doula, I am privileged to help women and their partners make these experiences as positive and healthy as possible. I am proud to have received my DONA training and offer support to women and families in my area.
My Services
As a respected Doula, I pride myself in providing you and your partner with care, understanding, information and support throughout, during, and after the birthing process. Our initial meeting will help me tailor my packages to fit your needs, as every pregnancy is different. To schedule an initial consultation, or to learn more about my practice, please contact me.
Prenatal Visits
After beginning our relationship with a meet and greet, I am committed to your health and the well being of your growing family, available throughout your entire pregnancy as well as after giving birth. I will be there to provide you with continuous emotional and physical support, and answer any and all questions you may have.
Birthing Guidance
Get extra personal support throughout the entirety of your birthing journey. As a Doula, I promise to offer unwavering support to you and your family before, during, and after birth. I will stay in close contact in order to routinely check how you’re doing and offer anything needed.
Postpartum Support
From our initial meeting all the way through your pregnancy and delivery, I take the time to get to know you, your concerns and your needs. I’m available to contact by phone/email and will provide everything you require to make sure your experience is as calm and positive as possible. I also offer postpartum services, should the need arise.

On September 19th 2018 I gave birth to a healthy baby boy! i was so blessed to have Lisa as my Doula. Before I met Lisa I was not sure I needed a Doula. I assumed I could just go into labor with just the support of my husband. I met with Lisa a few times before my labor. She was very kind, supportive and understanding of what I wanted in my labor experience. And she helped answer all of my questions. Going into labor Lisa was there the whole time helping me with pain management and to make decisions.
She also made my husband feel better. My husband was very happy I decided to take Lisa as our Doula. Giving birth was a happy positive experience to me thanks to Lisa! If I ever have to go through labor again I would for sure call Lisa.
Post labor Lisa called and asked how me and the baby were doing. She also came to visit us! I truly love having a personal relationship with my Doula. I feel it is important to establish a good relationship.After all Lisa helped us to bring into the world the most important gift we could ever get! We are so thankful for having Lisa in our life. I trust Lisa and her judgement!

My biggest fear about birth was the pain. And not having a successful birth. Having Lisa as my Doula was very helpful in managing the pain and helping me to get through the contractions even when it seemed they were three seconds apart. She kept me comfortable during contractions.
The most important thing about having Lisa as my Doula was in helping me to make the decision about getting an epidural. I would recommend a Doula to a friend because it was very beneficial to me. And the back massages Lisa gave were fantastic during my back labor. If and when I decide to have another baby, I would definitely ask to have Lisa be my Doula again!! Even after complications post delivery she stayed to make sure the baby and I were okay before she left.

Having Lisa as my postpartum doula has been wonderful and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for help after having a baby.
Lisa is great with our baby boy and it’s so nice to know that I have someone who can help me with him if hes upset or can watch him while I take a nap! She is very patient and calming which I appreciate.
One benefit in my opinion of working with a postpartum doula is the network and resources available. There have been a couple issues and questions I’ve had and Lisa has been able to ask the other doulas that she works with for their advice/recommendations which has been really helpful. It’s also been nice to be able to talk to someone who not only went through all the same things but also works with other women who are in the same place I am.
Lisa also helps us with cleaning and cooking. She does a great job with both and it makes such a big difference to have a clean house or a meal cooked for you when you’ve been taking care of your baby all day.
If you’re thinking of hiring a postpartum doula or anyone after having a baby I would recommend Lisa! She is knowledgeable and thorough with everything that she does and we really enjoy working with her.
